BlueFlip Art in Wired Magazine
February 22nd, 2008
The fine folks over at Wired Magazine were kind enough to mention BlueFlip Art in an article called “Home Improvements” found in the the Arts section of their March issue. (Hi, new Wired visitors!) The article explains the newfound affordability that the online art gallery movement has created.
The article also discusses the sites Thumbtack Press and 20×200. If you’re a BlueFlip Art fan you’ll more than likely find something you like at either of those sites, so be sure to check them out.

“All Shook Down” Blog
July 13th, 2007
Josh is a friend of BlueFlip Art and runs “Creep Machine“, a “webzine dedicated to alternative, underground, outsider, lowbrow or pop surrealism art”, as mentioned in a previous BlueFlip Art blog entry.
Josh now also writes for the “All Shook Down” blog on the website for San Francisco’s biggest free weekly, SF Weekly. His column highlights great prints available all over the web.
While we’d love for BlueFlip Art to be your one-stop-shopping place on the web for great art, there’s simply too much incredible work out there for that to be realistic. So for a great read and tips on finding even more awesome prints, head on over to “All Shook Down“.
Other sites worth your time
June 8th, 2007
Today we’re going to take a bit of a break from the norm of just announcing new prints here on BlueFlip Art and point you to a couple of other art-related sites well worth your web browsing time.
The first is “The Little Chimp Society“, (or “LCS” for those in the know) which is billed as an illustration news portal. Updated daily, it’s a great source of information to see what’s happening in the world of illustration. Check it out at http://thelittlechimpsociety.com/.
Next up is the newly launched “The Creep Machine” which is a site dedicated to:
“..alternative, underground, outsider, lowbrow or pop surrealism art. Whatever you feel like calling it, it’s about art. Traditional, digital, cartoon & illustration, and photography.”
The Creep Machine has excellent and dare I say similar taste in art to BlueFlip Art, and any fan of one should definitely check out the other.
